1953 Coronation

An album of photographs was found at Ye Olde George Inn which contained several images of the village celebrating the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, on June 3rd 1953. Along with some others collected by families, these have been divided into two sections, First, preparations for the festivities and, second, the procession and dancing in the Square.
